Did you know that 40 million euros were stolen by cybercriminals in Belgium in 2022? And the data of 300,000 Belgian families in January 2024? Hackers' techniques are well-honed: password attacks, phishing and ransomware.
To protect us, the Belgian authorities have created the Center for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), which reports to the Prime Minister. The center offers services such as cybersecurity certification, training, awareness-raising and security incident management.

Your mission,
if you accept it…

  • The Prime Minister's Chancellery and the CCB:  "Our goal is very ambitious: it's to make Belgium one of the least cyber-vulnerable countries in Europe.”.
  • Us : “We're going to have to get to know all the parties involved, because you're two entities, and you're commissioning us to take over several sites and create a new portal and applications, with very eclectic technical environments”.
  • Them : “But rest assured: everything is ultra-secure and accessible according to strict procedures”
  • Us : 😀

In short, our mission is multi-faceted: take over sites, migrate them to Drupal, create an application portal, create a Chrome extension...

A multi projects program

Our mission is to create a coherent set of sites and applications to help citizens and businesses fight cybercrime.

  • The Chrome application is a kind of custom-made plugin/extension that gives a score to every website you visit. Simple in appearance, this “little” extension hides a whole complex system that interrogates CCB databases to check page after page for their level of reliability.
  • The Safeonweb@work portal provides advice, recommendations and tools to help organizations identify and reduce vulnerabilities in their systems, and be alerted to cyber threats.
  • The public section of Safeonweb@work is the entry point for anyone in an organization wishing to learn more about the subject. The site provides documentation for any organization.

More than just a project, WebstanZ is managing a multi-project program. In order to implement it, we need to put in place well-orchestrated governance to ensure the success of the various missions carried out in parallel. Safeonweb@work is one such initiative aimed at strengthening the cyber-resilience of Belgian companies and organizations.
